Solving the PFAS Challenge: Comprehensive Screening of 5,000 Suspects

9am EST| 2pm GMT | 3pm CET

PFAS – also known as “forever chemicals” –  form a huge chemical group with more than 4,700 registered compounds plus associated degradation products.

Despite their ubiquitous presence in the environment and organisms, there is a lack of reference standards, molecular databases or spectral libraries. The low concentrations of PFAS in complex matrices and the presence of multiple isomers further complicate the PFAS analysis.

In this webinar, our expert speaker will introduce a novel workflow based on trapped ion mobility spectrometry (TIMS) for automated PFAS screening and identification against comprehensive suspect lists of almost 5,000 entries from the Norman network and NIST.

Attend this webinar to:

  • Benefit from an innovative method in the rapidly emerging area of PFAS detection
  • Use comprehensive screening to increase your visibility to a virtually unlimited number of PFAS compounds
  • Learn about a novel analytical workflow based on the combination of UHPLC, TIMS and high-resolution MS
  • Go beyond the current regulations and future-proof your lab for any enhancements in safety standards
